the mood changed quite a lot after the filming of the first episode. the girls put in minor team are beaten and don't feel very cheerful, which is of course understandable but makes eunae uncomfortable. the realization that this is a survival show has been brutal. although her audition seems to have impressed the ceo, she can't exactly rely on that and lower her guard. her spot can be given to someone else next time and they would deserve it; she's bound to mess up and doesn't think she can stay up there the whole time. she's gonna try, though. with all her heart.
since they arrived around the same time, dawon and eunae decided to be roommates for now and settled in together. they spent most of the first night chatting - or more like eunae did the chatting and dawon the listening - and she found out that the nova trainee is pretty quiet. she doesn't mind, though. she speaks enough for the both of them, plus dawon is a sweet girl. she knows she's the nervous type and so eunae has been trying to help her through it, but the environment they're in only makes it worse. especially after today's events.
"are you okay?" she asks, sitting on the edge of dawon's bed. what a dumb question, she thinks. of course she's probably not okay. was it thoughtless? "do you want a snack? i've got some in my bag."
