Meet Echo's one and only Star guide! I may or may not have gone a little collage crazy with this one lol!
My brain will not let me write this all in one go so I’m breaking it up into parts. Anyways here’s part one of OliveClans story before its founding
OLIVECLAN MOON 0 : FINDING LILAC PT 1
The wind seemed to still as Orion approached her old home. A rickety twoleg den that stood further from the others guarded by a short rotted wooden fence. It was a shame that Starclan's chosen kit would end up in a place like this. Abandoned, filthy, surrounded by vermin and the cats crawling within. The abandoned den was no place for kits. She’d be surprised if Thunder hadn’t corrupted him already or even left him out for a roaming fox. Though if StarClans word was true then this task will be nothing compared to what she shall later endure.
She walked up the creaky porch and over the fallen door that lay still in the walkway welcoming her into the gaping maw of the home. It was damp and oh so dark. The smell of rain and old prey clung to every wall in a way not even the strongest floods could remove. Dust sprinkled down on her fur with each sway of the broken plank that hung from the ceiling. From the entryways she could peek into a room that was the old communal area when she used to live here but it was now barren and wrecked from the ever changing seasons.
“You must be Orion!” A voice marveled behind her.
A fluffy White cat with ginger patches covering his body bounded down the stairs just faster than she could react, pinning her to the ground in seconds. Despite his claws digging into her throat his eyes glimmered with curiosity. If it weren’t for the bright orange collar meticulously tied around his neck she would’ve never recognized him. 20 moons ago he’d been nothing more than a mewling kit found with his mother near the den. If it weren’t for her thunder might have never let him stay. His name was Sunny.
Sunny flexed his claws “thunder told me to expect you, ever since I got that sign from the stars he’s been soooo on edge I don’t think he believes me though-“ he froze for a moment “you’re here for him aren’t you?”
“The stars wouldn’t warn you for a good reason” she hissed, keeping her eyes on his paws. “I insist you listen to them and stay out of my way.”
The younger cat shrugged, padding up beside her. “Thunder won’t let you get to him. He’s guarded really well.”
Saw this trending and I had to do it with that one polycule in the clan’s current save file.
They even had a second litter not too long afterwards!
You can learn more about them here!
Why can't they just be two twin clans?
I think the biggest reason for this is that the cats in Driftclan don't want to be split up, knowing that the two clans would always be at odds.
Also neither Frostspeck or Scorchglint want to go off and build a whole new clan on their own. They value the community they already have too much.
I don't think either of the ghosts would mind too much about this, though Hornetstar would be a lot more upset with a twin clan solution then Tidestar :P
MOON [ ERR ]
You were here.
You were FINALLY here.
Newt County.
..Well, technically you HAD been here ever since you passed through the fog.
But still, just being here made you feel...anxious.
There was something about how the wind was silent, the air sour and the grass dead, yet still alive.
There was something seriously wrong with this place, even beyond the fog and the monsters and the fact your childhood friends had came here and died.
…Or worse.
You stomped the ground a few times, as if testing how safe it was.
It felt hollow, yet when you pulled your foot back enough, there was still a good layer of dirt.
…Weird.
Shine continued on, giving a quiet ‘mmrrp!’ To let you know where she was going. There was a town up ahead, just as empty as yours had been when you the fog swallowed everything in front of it whole.
Shine seemed very worried at the sight. From the way she was clinging to your leg, town must have been fairly populated before.
Before. This was now, where there was just as much, if not MORE blood everywhere than the desert of your home, and worst of all no corpses.
So much blood, so much of it.
But no corpses or body to trace it all back to.
That’s what worried you the most.
…
[ Find him. Find Toby. Or what’s left of him, anyways. ]
