Love Me
Love Me: I’ll write a fluffy drabble about our characters.
He simply loves it whenever she visits. It's almost everyday, yes, but who cares? He doesn't, that is for sure. And they will sit and chat and read together in that empty lobby - as if it's been built for them and them only, for nobody goes there but the pair of almost-lovers.
Because he won't say it. It's almost cliché and he's certain there's been a Disney song about it, but again, he doesn't care. All it takes is a glance at her lovely eyes and beautiful smile and the bravery he had burns to a crisp and all he can do is lower his face so she won't see him blush.
He wishes, though, that he could show her to the Stars. To present each other and tell her stories about his far away friends... But she's always gone when the Stars come to visit him.
All he knows about her is that she's Felicia, she's on her last year of high school and loves book almost as much as he does. And once more, he doesn't care for the details. Let her come with her own afflictions when she judges it's best and he hopes there's none to plague those beautiful eyes for he, who had always known darkness, would be lost once again without her who is his Sun.
And let him, the lonely ginger, who wanders through the hallways with his eyes closed and ears only tuned to what matters, have heart to tell her about his own nightmares one day. For he is afraid, Oh so afraid, that once she knows, she'll be disgusted, afraid of him and run.
For such reasons and many more, he mirrors her smile as they chat about some meaningless thing (that he find himself enjoying), hoping that one day he also can shine like she does, to be one with his Sun.
And who knows? Maybe this time Icarus won't burn his wings.
Just this once.
