Cooking day.
”Ahhh--! It looks so good!” Mary exclaimed for herself, leaning back on the couch and lifting a magazine while staring at it attentively. Since nobody was at home, she decided to distract herself by reading a bit. “How are these called...? Strawberry.... cre...pes... Crepes!” The girl nodded twice. “Mou... I want one of these...” Mary frowned, concentrating even more in the picture of the delicious looking dessert.
"SHAYTO OPPAAH!" The young girl runs over to the boy with her hands over her mouth.
"Hmmm? What's wrong, kiddo?"
The moon was high in the sky by now. At this time, most people would be asleep, but here in the soundless room sat a weary pair of teens, wrapped tiredly up in each other's arms. The quiet murmers of conversation they shared had long since fallen silent, and yet, each remained in the waking world. Sleep seemed to refuse them it's presence, however tired they so clearly were.
Seto shifted, his chin resting on the girl's head. She was restless, it was plain to see. And however tired he might have been, it somehow became his priority to make sure she get her much needed sleep. But how to do it?
A soft sound rumbled in the recesses of his throat, slowly calling forth the voice he hadn't used in...an hour now? Too tired to have done so. "Nn...."
After a slow intake of breath, he peaked his eyes open to find hers resolutely shut. He smiled at that, though he knew she was wide awake regardless. So, once succesfully summoning his voice, he began to hum softly. The gentle noises gradually turned into words, into a lullaby.
"You are my sunshine....my only sunshine...you make me happy..when skies are gray~"
