when beasts meet - Baekhyun and Chanyeol

Chanyeol was out during the night to go and walk around some. The wolf needed his space and the feeling of freedom as schedules could be tight and stressful. His fellow EXO members understood and never wondered why he would return home at for example 4 AM.  He loved walking around as the dark-grey wolf he was, climbing trees and running around or chasing squirrels or other small animals. He had no clue he was being watched though but eventually he smelled that he wasn’t alone. Chanyeol switched to his human form but kept his wolf features out, looking around in the dark night to get a glimpse of who was watching him.

“Show yourself!” he said, using his nose and his ears to get any sign of the other person present.

Emptiness Filled

        He wanted to be gone in this world. 

        He wished he was never born. 

        He was only coping up, striving to survive. 

        On that fateful day, he planned to end all the pain he felt. And that was when she came--she, who became his remedy, his haven, his home. 

        Her radiant smile colored his monochromatic world. Her warmth provided solace. Her gentle touch became the remedy of his wounds. 

        He had scars--it didn’t remind  him of all his pain; it reminded him of who healed him. 

        He was broken, and she wasn’t able to fix him. But instead, she became part of him; she filled the hollow parts of him.

Regret. 

ZERO’S BIGGEST REGRET IN LIFE was letting her go that night. He could still vividly remember everything, and sometimes he’d dream about it; that cold winter night they parted--the whiteness of the snow, the coldness of the weather, the intensity of the gale blowing, and the way the leaves fell. During that time, she said that her humanity was gone, but he knew she was wrong. 

        Whether she’s a human or a vampire, she’ll always be his Yuki. Her kind smile, her warm hands . . . her everything. It’ll always be there, because that’s what made her Yuki.

        He shouldn’t have declared her as his enemy. He should’ve told her how much he loved--loves--her. He should’ve told her to run away with him. 

        Even though he knew it was an impossible love, even though he knew it was them against the world; he was still more than willing to defy fate. He loved, wanted and cherished her. But that night, his anger and shock blinded him.

        Looking back, if he were given the chance to do it all over again, he wouldn’t let her go.
