     If anyone deserved something nice for this crap, marketing ploy of a day, it was Zoe. So she went about making her something nice, realizing that it might be weird only after she’d finished the homemade chocolates, which turned out both pretty and delicious. Figuring she might as well go through with it, she wrapped the box and forewent any sort of card or identification as to who might have gotten it for her.

Angel’s plan was to just leave it somewhere Zoe would find and get the hell out, but as always, the universe seemed to be on permanent standby to throw curveballs her way and just as she set the box down, the redhead walked into the room.

“Ah.” She had mastery over her poker face, so she managed to keep her cool. But she could only hope the warmth she felt over her cheeks wasn’t too apparent. “I was trying a recipe. Didn’t want them to go to waste.”

     “Wanna see a cool trick my dragon dad taught me?”  Oh how Zoe absolutely lit up around other kids.  It was a chance to play after all!  Not that playing with her pokemon friends wasn’t fun and all, but this was different.  Not all her pokemon friends had hands after all.  Just precious squishy little toe beans.

     “Does your Pyroar play fetch?”  Perhaps not the first question she should ask a total stranger after having dropped through a rift right into their house.  And yet, despite having fallen rather unceremoniously onto her butt, she seems entirely unbothered as soon as her eyes fell upon the larger than average fire lion.

@bornspellcaster​ “Hula hoop?” That has him intrigued, especially when he hears it has to do with stars! “That sounds fun!”

     “It’s so much fun!  Especially when you try to do tricks and stuff!”  Zoe pointed up at the sky, several multicolored lights twinkling before shooting down towards them.  The stars shrank as they decended, becoming small enough that she could hold one between her hands.  Then they connected to one another, forming a ring.  “You gotta keep it spinning; and with all the colors it makes an awesome rainbow when it goes suuuuper fast!”
