aether pretty much expected those familiar gloved hands on his waist, tugging him back onto even more familiar thighs. he'd merely been joking when he said he was going to leave mondstadt, barely even a threat as they both knew that aether would much rather spend time with his husband for a little while longer before continuing his journey. still, jokingly or not, it appeared diluc didn't want to take any chances and aether found himself suddenly pressed to the warmth of diluc's chest.

"honey," he says with a small teasing lilt, head tilting to the side to give diluc an amused look, "i was only going to our bedroom. i promise." the blond leans up to press a soft kiss to diluc's jaw, nuzzling against his neck as he laughs under his breath. "although... i will never say no being manhandled by you."
