Anyways, I'm guessing that he WOULD come back but not as Mr.Mononobe but as King Solomon and probably some gut wrenching drive for MC later in the story (the one kind of story trope that I somewhat like and hate because I can relate of losing someone close and it's definitely not something you'd want to endure 💀 but ANYWAYS)

I'll place my thoughts about Yog under READ MORE ⊂((・▽・))⊃
In my opinion Yog-Sothoth is a tragic character (majority are LMAO) and it's somewhat understandable of why he obey Babalon easily under the influence of trying to get a rise/reaction out of Azathoth which we all know is his creator (essentially a father to Yog-Sothoth)
Having to be born out of the blue, trying to find a reason of why you're living while wandering aimlessly in the world of the Old Ones.
I always seem to find that Yoga-Sothoth is the most human out of the three (Nyarlathotep and Tsathoggua) he constantly deals with existential crisis (very relatable I tell you-) and genuinely yearns paternal affection from Azathoth
Nyarl, however, is a different case since he seems more to be obsessive with Azathoth than he sees him as a parent. Tsathoggua obviously doesn't care about said relations between them and goes along with his life
Which is why Yog-Sothoth is very special, he's in a consecutive state of denying and hoping.
Denying the future because where no matter what he did, Azathoth remains oblivious and yet he had hoped in that same future that one day his 'father' would sought out after him, giving him reason to finally know that it was alright to breathing
I think that's all I have from me and I really wished that we would be able to see him again!
