That's an interesting question! :D
So...
He was a half-wild cat who got tortured by stupid kids for fun. The ripped off face is because of them explouding petard in front of him, which also damaged his front leg, then at the end he got poisoned because everyone was afraid of him.
Here's a picture of him, when he was normal :')
This all popped into my mind, because my dad and few other people wanted to poison the cats that aren't anyone's and are roaming around the street. It apparently didn't happen, which is good. Some people are just horrible. 😞
