honestly? mary doesn’t know barty all too well at all. he seems mysterious to her and the few times they’ve talked, mary has always been extremely defensive — she can’t help it, to her, it seems as if he has the typical makings of a wannabe death eater. however, what she does know, is that he’s good friends with marlene, and if marlene is friends with him, then there must be some good in him after all.
