Okay, sooooo, for giggles (and because I’m always tempted, and love window shopping. Pepper, always drooling on the store windows T3T) after seeing some posts by @dasebeleren, I looked up the WAR Mythic Ed on Ebay. Most entries are about what I expected, almost all of them revolving around 600 (starting bid) up to nearly 1k.
It’s bullshit. Given the difficulty of getting one in the first place, added to the addition of pretty much one of the most coveted Planswalkers of them all, JTMS, with new (and really better if you ask me) art... Yeah, I can see those stupid second market mark ups...
BUT!
But no matter your stance on the MSRP, no matter your frustration with the Hazbro site or EBAY, no matter your thoughts on a second market sticker price of nearly a THOUSAND dollars for a standard product with only 8 cards of added bling, NOTHING, I say again NOTHING will prepare you for this.
