⇧ - Bury my muse in blankets and turn on their favorite show
((I can’t find the post for this, but it was for comforting my muse. :’3)) || @rufus–shinra
Naia shifted in her position on the couch, her previous one getting uncomfortable after laying in it for so long. She’d been there most of the day, half-assed watching some rerun of a show she couldn’t care less about, but it was better than the other options.
When Rufus got home, she’d barely acknowledged her husband. Her mind was too busy thinking about things. That was one major side effect to becoming a stay at home mom, with no need to work; she often found herself overthinking things. And, when another mother at their children’s school had made a comment to her, it only started the whirlwind of thoughts.
She was pulled from her thoughts, however, when a blanket was tossed over her. And then another, and one more for good measure. Looking to the blonde, she blinked before a small smile broke across her lips. “What’re you doing?” she asked, watching as he moved to change the input of the TV. And her smile only grew more.
How thoughtful he could be. Without so much as a text to let him know how she was feeling, he’d picked up the newest season of her favorite TV show. Even more thoughtful was the fact that he didn’t even like this show. As he came back to sit beside her, she wrapped her arms around him and swaddled them both in the blankets. “I love you, you big softie.”
