Now, sprawled and hazy- basking in warmth that would slowly ebb away, Mickey began to take in the rest of their surroundings. He’d never actually seen the rooms attached to the hallway above the stairs in their vet’s home, in fact, most visits to Luca’s had usually involved Sardine or Kevin’s seemingly impossible ability to understand that scrunchies were not meant for eating. Around his waist, silk sheets pooled like water and he lazily rubbed at his cheek, looking over at the other man with a grin tugging up at his lips. Picking up the dark halo of curls he shifted over, hooking his chin on the other man’s shoulder. “I think that was far better than watching you check the cat for worms. We should definitely do this more often.”
