Who: @camelliafairchild Where: Guastavino’s, by the Bar When: Before Dinner
Frost kept her smile up at Hyacinth’s retreating figure until he disappeared amongst the crowd, her smile slipping off like water. She stared after her friend before steeling herself, turning back to the bar. “Shot of Kraken, please. Two.” As soon as the shots were placed in front of her, she was tossing back the first one followed by the second one. The burn of rum clung to the insides of her throat as the liquid slid down. It was a welcome feeling that immediately froze over, ice coating her innards.
As concerned as Frost was for Hyacinth in regards to Elise, she was also reminded that she had frozen herself for this reason alone. She could never understand why Hyacinth kept putting himself in this position, paramour after paramour. Setting down the glass and feeling pleasantly detached, she exhaled a sigh before turning, pausing immediately as she made eye contact with the beloved princess of the Unseelie Court.
“Princess Camellia.” A polite smile on her face, Frost inclined her respectfully. “Happy Cotillon to you.” Looking at Camellia, Frost was inwardly pleased to see the gloves that clothed her hands. As much as she enjoyed the princess, it always made Frost wary of her wild hand. “Are you enjoying your night?”
