The event was beautiful. Of course, there had never been a singular doubt in Camellia’s mind that it would be - after all, it was the predecessor to one of the most important events that the fey held.
Not to mention, any excuse to get dressed up all fancy was a good one. Camellia didn’t need any sort of excuse - after all, looking nice was (and had always been) important to her, but Cotilan was a reason to go above and beyond the usual.
The meal was not too far away, but for the moment she’d found herself maneuvering her way around the crowd - she had chosen to wear a pair of light silk gloves for the event - they could be easily removed and tucked into her purse should she need to gather a feeling someone was experiencing, but Camellia did not feel the need to have her hands out for exposure, especially when she very well could be expected to shake any number of hands.
Finishing up a brief conversation with a nice woman who was thrilled about being able to attend, in her own words ‘such a brilliantly extravagant event’, Camellia spotted a face that was familiar, though not someone who she talked with much. One, because he was Seelie, and two, because she was fairly certain that he was one of her mother’s least-favored Seelie. Running a hand through her hair, letting it spill over her shoulders, she made her way over to him.
“I have a feeling there are certain individuals who might not feel pleased at our speaking.” Camellia began, giving a small shrug, though made no move to leave.
