They were of very little purpose to him. He maintained a firm grasp of the grab handle on the train to steady himself on the moving carriage, his free hand occupying one of the latest seasonal drinks from the Starbucks inside the station. Henry sipped leisurely from his cup before issuing an incurious, throwaway reply to the man’s drivel, ❝That’s great, buddy! I love that for you. Next time, though, tell somebody who actually asked, alright?❞ He shook his head apathetically as he disregarded the self-proclaimed "lupine" in favour of eyeing up a younger man from across the carriage.
