"okay, you’ve made your point. now shut up and kiss me."

“Is that how you’re going to shut me up from now on?” Galen’s lips turned upward. Sure, Juno was the pilot of the Rogue Shadow, and originally, she had been brought on as his personal pilot. Truthfully, she was a much better pilot than he was. That didn’t mean Galen couldn’t fly on his own, though. He was talented in his own right...or at least, he had been before he died. Apparently, he still had a few tricks in him. Once the Rogue Shadow had landed safely, Galen spun in his seat to face Juno. “Because I could get used to that. A kiss every time you want me to stop talking...or showing off.” // @jxno-eclipse​

“Thank you for bringing me here,” he leaned down to whisper in Juno’s ear. One minute, there was hope. Galen stood next to Juno, not quite holding her hand, but letting his calloused fingers bump against her skin every few seconds. For the first time in a long time, and certainly for the first time since he had blinked his eyes and found that he was no longer dead, he felt as if he might have a purpose - a true destiny. This. This alliance, this rebellion, this fight to make the galaxy a fair and just place - it gave him a purpose. 

The next minute, the world turned upside down. He felt the rumbling before he realized what was happening. Taken entirely off guard, Galen barely had time to react. Instinct took over, and as the explosion truly took form, he forced both himself and Juno to the ground. Shielding her with his larger frame, Galen took a deep breath as the reality of the situation started to kick in. “Stay do-!” He didn’t get to finish the sentence before something grazed across his arm. It sliced right through his thick jacket, marring his already scarred skin. // @jxno-eclipse​
