Aaron always enjoyed Kris’s company. She had more and more frequently opted for just spending time with them, rather than heading out to Greek Row for a weekend party. It might not have been nearly as exciting, but she loved it in a different way. They usually just watched TV, or made food together, dishing about their classes, their professors and sometimes even talking about their upbringing. It was a deep connection, one that was deeper than she was used to. She tossed her Nalgene bottle on the couch and collapsed onto it. “Oh dear GOD. This week nearly killed me, I swear, waaay too much homework in bio. Yuck. And practice tonight felt like it was dragging on and on. Do you mind if I just act like a jelly fish tonight? And lay on the couch next to you?” she said with a sly smile, making space for Kris to join her on the couch.
