I suppose I just needed a small rest.” Which turned out to be a 5-hour nap in the tower Encore called home. This is fine.

Cipher yawns slightly, her hair parted in a way where one could see how differently colored her hues were. “Good to see you’re still in one piece, though.”

“I’m not entirely sure.” Her answer is simple, even if the problem before them isn’t. The crime scene was classified as a break-in, sure, except who the hell would break into a jewelry store and take absolutely nothing?

Except she doubted there were any. Something’s off about this whole thing and Raychel doesn’t like it. It doesn’t make sense--unless someone was trying to prove a point.
