wade cursed to himself, checking his watch on his wrist. 20 minutes late and he swears he will never hear the end of it. sighing, he walks a bit quicker down the street toward the restaurant. at least, this time he didn’t promise he wouldn’t be late. yet in his business, it should be expected. besides when he racks up a million deals, he is never late for that. while walking down the street, he could feel eyes on him and glances around his surroundings. but he doesn’t see anyone at all. good, he thought as he smirks to himself. it meant he hired good enough guys to keep out of sight. finally arriving at the restaurant, he pulls the door handle walking inside. he nods a waiter passing by that motions toward the back of the room. his usual table is always ready for the young man. he strolls toward the back of the restaurant, seeing his date sitting before him. “i’m so sorry i’m late.” he told them, kissing them on their cheek quickly. he walks over to his seat, taking his suit jacket off and drapes it over the chair. “i had some business to take care of, and yes i know i should've call. i’m sorry about that.” he spoke softly, before looking the up and down. “did i happen to tell you that you look gorgeous tonight?”
