midnight drag
Brian sat alone, under a streetlamp, on a random park bench. He wasn't sure how long he'd been sitting here, but it was night, and there he sat watching the cars drive by. No one had come by so he must not have been that important to them. Keep telling yourself that Brian. You aren't important. He slipped a cigarette out of the carton and lit it, taking a drag. He hadn't smoked in about three months. So much for quitting. Useless. He stared out into the darkness a bit longer before hearing footsteps behind him.
