"Does your phone have games on it?"
Kid seems to be having quite a ball, taking a sip of tea and laughing with a nome (who is definitely not having as good a time tied to the opposite chair).
"Gosh, that's awful," he laughs at...whatever he imagined the nome said. "You're too funny!"
If you’re a pirate then you must have a sword, parrot, and pirate hat with eyepatch Shadow Kid!
"I do not need those things and parrots are too big anyways... but those are interesting ideas, I admit."
Now he's looking for pirate supplies on work hours.
‘ fear won’t go away, but i can keep it at bay. ’ / for either! :eyes:
Attempting to stand still and tall (as tall as he would be allowed in this situation) the shadow listens to the elder woman, nodding lightly along. Swallowing back fear of everything except for her, he tells himself, 'Mama will be here... She will show me to be even stronger, too...'
*There’s a note on the wall with a well drawn yet silly face Shadow Kid and detailed prettily drawn Six that has the words “Seven drools! Six Rules!” in neat writing by a mature person*
"Hmph!"
He stomps and tears the paper away.
"I have never done anything wrong or stupid my whole life! I do not drool!"
"Today is an average day."
“what things? i want you to tell me.” (palemaw, Mono to SK uwu....)
His gaze slides to the left, though an invisible gesture to the reciever. What could he tell the other child? Perhaps he hadn't chosen his words as carefully as he hoped to keeping the conversation fr getting too personal.
Finally a response is slowly given, "Well, things such as... Someone I once considered a friend, she seemed to have a habit of holding people- be it hands, arms, cheek..." There was a slight flustered blur for barely a second. "Although she is... Out of my life, now. She has hurt me too far. The Governess is also quite kind and physically comforting, given you do not threaten or surprise her in some way." His tone loosens a little in the end.
“let me hold you awhile.” to sk from shadow six
There was no answer to her request immediately, at least not a verbal one. It took quite some time before he silently turned to the other shadow. Keeping his head down, he slowly leans in against her shoulder. This physical reply was all that was needed, in his eyes at least, as he holds his knees to his chest and keeps his eyes downcast. Eyes which fluttered til closed in the peace of their togetherness. But he wouldn't sleep, not now. Just fulfilling her request and his own indulgence.
