This... was the last time Syd would ever help Kat fight Nevi during a gravity storm. Spitting out dirt, Syd looks up above him, sees the rope to the building that had - unfortunately - been dragged off with him and - fortunately - been abandoned.
“At least I have a house,” He murmured, glancing at his bike. The gravity engine was okay, which was good, so he could get up to his new home when he was finished. With a faint scowl, he reloads the barrel of his gun, carefully poking around the underbrush and finally stopping in a clearing. Only four Nevi... and they were harassing a young woman. He took aim at one and fired, noting the weapon in her hand.
“Miss! Attacking them anywhere but on the red cores won’t do any damage!” He called, shooting another one to pieces. It shattered with a satisfying crack of breaking glass.
