A fitting spiel for Scepter Four, wasn’t it? And one that Reisi Munakata believed full-heartedly. Why else would it be something he’ll say -- time in and time out -- if he so much as not believed in it?

Still, there was often a thought that came to his mind as his practiced his swordplay: a thought he tried not to humour as often as it crept in.

                  What if, truly, what he believed to be pure and just, wasn’t always the case?                                    What if the work he tries so hard to do -- the public he tries desperately to protect -- didn’t see things the same way he did...?

It was a thought he tried not to humour often....But when he did; he did until the world around him was nothing more than a faded existence around him.
