Open starter for Genshin Kira~

There was so much to look at and learn about here in Sumeru, and while that fueled Kira’s desire to learn, going to the main cities--where much of this knowledge could be found--was rather...taxing for her. She didn’t like the Akasha terminals, nor the looks she got when she wasn’t wearing one. She didn’t like how the scholars looked at everyone else as if they were nobles or aristocrats looking at the general public like dirt. So, she stayed in the forest for the most part. 

“What...??” She froze and looked before her at the patch of greenery a little ways away. The area looked cloudy with fog, despite the fact that there was no fog where Kira stood, and the plants...they looked like they were decaying... What was happening.?? She hasn’t been in Sumeru for very long at all and had yet to come across something like this. Her vision glowed upon her chest, as if warning her against proceeding. What was happening to the forest..??

There was no shame felt with his scars left all out in the open and on display. These were the markings of battles won, expressions of his strength and victory over the years of him battling. Sure, every injury gained in a battle was a mistake and showed weakness, but that meant these scars showed how much he learned from his slip-ups. He’s grown from his mistakes into an even better warrior. 

Even so, they weren’t necessarily gentle. There was nothing soft about these markings. They were ragged and harsh, flesh torn from muscle and bone in battles long past, but still remaining like ghosts of a painful time. Soft touch of any sort always came as a surprise to the Harbinger, even when he should have been expecting it. Like now. He was merely standing in their home, cleaning some of their dirty laundry--his shirt included, which was why his torso was currently bare--when he felt lips press softly against one of the markings on his back.

He glanced behind him to see who it was--as if he didn’t already know--with a smile upon his lips. “Hey, girlie~ Be careful about catching me off guard like that. Who knows, maybe I’ll attack you next time on instinct~” he joked.

Kira sat under the shade of a tree, writing diligently in a journal in her hands. She appeared to be glancing up every now and then, either evaluating her surroundings or deep in thought about something before quickly going back to the book and writing whatever it was back down.

Arms folded behind her back, the Tsartisa looked out at the nation below from the balcony of her study. The cold was growing colder, temperature dropping with the Archon’s mood. This wasn’t included in the plan... When she gets her hands on that traitor, she will make his death long and painful. Icy blue hues glanced to the side as she sensed someone approach her.

Comforting Prompts—No Longer Accepting

What was this human reaction called a “panic attack”..?? Xiao didn’t understand what was happening, and that was forcing him to panic. Lumine hadn’t called his name this time, but he had seen her in passing and decided to approach her. But the closer he got, the more he realized just what state she was in. He rushed to her aid only to have her say that she was fine when she clearly wasn’t. Xiao didn’t understand. What was happening to her..?? The only times he had ever seen anyone act in such a way was when…

…When they were faced with the madness of corruption. But surely this wasn’t his doing, right.?? Lumine had assured him before that his debt couldn’t corrupt her. She wasn’t human, after all. Then why was this happening..?? What was wrong with his beloved.?? Though he knew this had nothing to do with him, he still feared being responsible. He wanted to draw away in case his presence and the darkness associated with it was poisoning her. But by contrast, being closer may help her… 

He made a decision and carefully ran his gloved fingers through her hair. He didn’t speak—he didn’t know what to say. So instead, he simply tried to soothe her with his gentle touch.

An agent... How curious. The Cryo Archon sat upon her throne of ice and frost, looking down at the girl who approached her. She didn’t waste too much time in the throne room of her palace, instead opting to spend her free time in her war room, plotting the next steps of her plan. However, lower members of the Fatui were not granted clearance to such a room, so she had to spend time here in the throne room to greet them and hear their news for her. 

She watched the kneeling agent for a moment before speaking. “Stand and speak. What news do you have for me?” She did not recognize this individual agent, but that was to be expected. She didn’t have the time nor patience to memories the faces of every one of her many agents.
