sometimes my demon turns into an animal and acts affectionate, i think its some kind of form-specific instinct thing, they certainly don’t have any repressed feelings for me they feel they can’t express in their usual form

dove started calling simon ‘love’ ‘darling’ ‘dear’ etc real early, even into the attempted murder times- they talk to everyone like that, its usually sarcastic

it mildly irritated him but it kinda grew on him (along with dove), then he called them love one day and they never let him live it down

(dove can’t quite pinpoint when it went from sarcastic to genuine)
