              jae let his teeth sink into his bottom lip to prevent his whines and whimpers from going past the threshold of his mouth. it took a lot of will and jaw clenching to stop him from wincing ever half a second but little noises of discomfort still manage to make it into the air between them. ❝ sorry, you didn’t have to do this. ❞ of course he felt thankful that she was kind enough to give him aid but it still didn’t stop him from feeling somewhat guilty.

              when the stylist woke him up from a quick nap with a common mix of confusion and curiosity. ❝ what? ❞ jae tilted his head slightly, oblivious to the words he himself had uttered. he was never one to remember dreams and he had always been blissfully unaware of his sleeping habits so the sudden question from the other male earned him a quizzical look.

              ❝ i’m so sorry, ❞ he apologised as if on instinct, head bowing in an effort to show his sincerity.  ❝ i didn’t mean to weird you out, honest! sorry. ❞ jae wasn’t quite sure what opted him to make such a comment. now that he thought of it, it really does seem weird to suddenly be called an angel out of no where. jae’s gaze dropped to the ground as if his shoes were suddenly the most interesting in the world.

               he just wanted to sleep. was that too much to ask for? it apparently is though, because jiho ended up poking at his side unforgivingly. groaning, he rolled away from the attacks until he found himself at the edge of the bed. desperate times call for desperate measures, jae decided for there was only one solution to an incessant jiho. wrapping his arms around the demon’s neck, jae pulled him down to catch jiho’s lips with his own. their movement blended perfectly. soft and sweet and full of things that jae had never known as a child. when the two pulled back for a gasp of air, there was a redness in his cheeks from being breathless. ❝ i just want a nap. ❞ he whined.

               jae followed in suit, squatting down to pick up the mess he had caused frantically and handed the girl her things with his head hung low. ❝ really, i'm really really really sorry. i'm so sorry. ❞ he rambled on, bowing his head to her multiple times to prove his sincerity. ❝ i didn't mean to! i'm so sorry about this! ❞

                jae hummed in content at the answer, the tanggle of his nerves slowly undoing themselves with the help of the comfort in those words. he let his body sink further into the other's side and nuzzled his cheek against jiho's shoulder. he missed this. missed the feeling of having someone with him, someone who won't yell at him or leave his body aching all over. all those years without him was absolute torture but now that jiho is back, those memories felt like someone else's.
