xdirtqueen replied to your post:
“I never paid a cent and I was greatly disappointed by that ride.”
“Maybe it’s because you didn’t pay for it.”

「 ✘ 」 “….hey.” The young woman raised a hand as she looked down on the gladiator. He’d probably scold her. Since right now she was not a visitor here but got dragged in by chains like any other fighter. Honestly her planned had been different but as it seemed for once, her brain had failed her which caused… some troubles in her life. "It’s fine here, I don’t need a cell on my own, I know the guys here." With a tired smile she sat down next to him. "….we’ll fight soon." She mumbled while looking at the roof. "The Colosseum’s best gladiator… and the leader of the revolt. Those royals hate me guts so… try your best. You’ll get free and I held my promise towards your mom…" She hadn’t even said that she planned a revolt - always saying she was nothing but a simple harlot and thief. But the girl had stolen from the richest people around and had started quite the ruckus. "….sorry… for everything."
It was nothing unusual, letting criminals fight in the Colosseum was a common way of execution, and he had probably killed countless of them before. But never even once he had expected to see Cassim here, chained like the other fighters and slaves. The only one he'd bother to call a friend, the only person he truly cared about.
Staring blankly at her, his hands trembling, at first not understanding what she was was talking about, or... no, rather he didn't want to understand. Freedom? Colosseum's best gladiator? What the hell was she even talking about? No way he'd be able to fight against her.
"You... you promised you'd be careful!!"
Suddenly he felt anger boiling up inside of him, because she had been so damn reckless, and because he had been unable to notice it.
"Who cares about shit like freedom, I wouldn't be able to live on my own anyways! Besides, I'm pretty sure that your promise didn't include you dying!!"
