However, in these times when technology is progressing rapidly, it seems like the government sees no need for banning Web Series completely. They believe that this can't be stopped, so why not make some compromises?

In the past few years, there have been many bans on some web series. These bans were for different reasons. The most recent ban by the government is in regards to the web series In a nutshell.
The government has limited this web series from being streamed on television because it promotes "divisive religious and sectarian themes." I think that while the ban will not be useful, stricter control by parents is necessary.
