Q: Out of your acting roles so far, which one was your favorite? Which was the most challenging?
A: Honestly, they were all fun and challenging in their own way. My role as Lee Chansol (in The Temperature of Language: Our Nineteen) will always be special to me since it was my very first professional acting experience.
Q: You've showcased a wide range of roles even with a limited filmography. What's a role you want to try next?
A: I think I want to try being the bad guy. I know it might not suit my image but I think that if I can properly digest a role that seems impossible for me, I'll be able to do anything in the future.
Q: Let's talk about YOHAN as a person rather than an actor. What do you consider to be your charming point?
A: I've been recognized most for being a really hard worker. Staff will often come up to me and ask if there's something wrong because I have such a serious face during work hours, but I make sure they know that I'm just super concentrated. Physically though, I think my arms are pretty nice.
Q: Do you work out?
A: Yes. I don't really enjoy it though, so I'll spend over 3 hours at the gym and then take a break for 3 days.
Q: What do you do when you have a break?
A: I try to rest, but a lot of the time, I'll find myself going over lines again or talking to others about what I'm working on. I'm trying to be better about my work-life balance.
Q: It's almost been 10 years since your first debut as an idol. What else would you like to accomplish?
A: Even though I've been in the industry for almost 10 years, I think I have a lot left of myself to show. I would love to continue acting until my performance is satisfactory for an award. I feel like that would be the ultimate recognition for me as an actor. I would also like to sing more and release a song for my fans, but that's just a wish of mine.
Q: Any last words for your fans?
