pole // starter for @beyejun
kou needs a new guitar. it isn't as though there's anything wrong with his current one – but there'd been a particular guitar he'd caught sight of online that had gotten his attention. and while he could've simply hit add to cart, there's just something different about actually feeling the guitar, your fingers against the string and neck.
he needed to feel a sort of connection, to know that he was buying the right one.
somehow, he's roped yejun into following him. he's not sure how, but yejun is here and kou doesn't mind the company. plus, he'd at the very least be able to get some opinions from yejun.
"it was pretty expensive online... but i know the owner at this one store, so he might give me a discount," kou explains, he's scrolling through his phone, trying to find a photo of the guitar when – ouch. he bumps into something. something hard. something that feels a lot like metal. something that might leave a bruise.
"ouch," he finally says out loud, usual deadpan demeanour unwavering. he lifts his eyes, only to realize he's walked into a pole. "who put the pole there?"
