somin hasn’t texted.
it’s strange. she just hasn’t been texting at her usual capacity recently. by recently, it’s been a couple of months. she just won’t text and when sunmi does reach out, she takes several hours to respond and it’s usually a response that comes off as curt. at first, sunmi just figured somin was a little busy. maybe she was bothering her while she was working on stuff. maybe she was doing some choreography, taking classes. who knows.

feeling that she was busy, she didn’t even bother with phone calls. why would she call if somin didn’t even feel up for texts? it was also hard to keep up with her especially when comeback season had kicked back up. soon, sunmi couldn’t even keep track for the last time she messaged her fiancee or vice versa. but with her comeback date announced, she knew she wouldn’t have much time to dedicate to their talks. it’s already been over a month since they last had a conversation.
so this time, she attempted to reach out again.

she left it simple in hopes that her girlfriend would give her an extended response. something longer than a handful of words. sunmi wanted that much. she was starting to get worried. was somin mad at her? did she mess up? sunmi didn’t forget anything important. both of their birthdays hadn’t passed yet and sunmi remembered both anniversaries. so what could it be?
