Grey knew that the two of them had been through a lot, but it seemed like things started to get back to the way things were all those years back... only thing different was that Mike had a kid -- which he adored. While in bed, having his arms wrapped around the other, he had been lost in his head a lot lately, a lot of things he ended up thinking about, not knowing how to go about certain things. Pressing his nose into the other male’s hair, staring at the dark walls with the light out, only a bit of moonlight shining through the bedroom. “Marry me.” He muttered into his hair. It might have not been the best place or a way he would have planned out, but he didn’t want to lose Mike again. He finally felt like his old self and he had him to thank for that.

There is a chill just outside the big barn doors that is almost forgotten with the heat of the bodies inside, but Brighid still remembers. She remembers clearly, the way her breath turned to fog in the evening air. The cold sent thrills down her spine, she had spent the extra moment outside just before entering. Shrugging off her coat so that she could feel the true weight of the cold. She was so damn close. The hunt was almost upon them.

Blackrock, the giving town that it was, had offered her one last chance to observe, to prepare. And while she certainly had her hands full playing, things didn’t go unnoticed. She spotted them, huddled in the back. One of the complimentary blankets the Whitegrass family had left out wrapped tightly across their shoulders. Brighid almost felt bad, for how obvious that might look. Downing the rest of her drink, she approached slowly. 

“I don’t think we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.” A smile, small and lethal, spread across her face. It screamed I know. I know what you are. “I’m Brighid,” she offered them her hand.

With being drunk already, there was no getting to Grey or having him listen, not even for Mike. Instead, he scoffed, rolled his eyes at the male and took a few steps back. He knew that it wouldn’t solve his problems, but at least it would let him forget about everything. All the issues that he caused, all the pain that he gave to the other male, as well as himself for hurting Mike. It wasn’t that he was drinking to solve any problems, he was just drinking so he could be numb. Forget everything that happened between them and that was it. “Who said I wanted it to solve anything? I’m not an idiot, Mike. I know drinking won’t take away my problems, but it sure as hell helps a lot.”

“I’m not exactly sure if this was an accident or not, but I got to say... I’m not going to complain about it. I’m more interested in wanting to know what’s on your trunks. But I still love that smile.”

Since the break up with Mike, it was easy to see that Grey had been a complete disaster. Actually... seeing Mike with another guy had Grey going down a dark path. He had been out and about with a few co-stars. Been in trouble on set with being late, or just showing up being completely plastered. It was all over tabloids, websites and TMZ had reported plenty of times how much Grey was spiraling and ruining his career. A lot of his fans blamed Mike for it, of course they did. he got messages, tweets, comments on pictures on his Instagram and just reading up online, he saw how much people had been putting Mike down. He had created an anonymous account to defend him, but most of the time he was drunk or on some type of drug that he didn’t even remember doing so. 

His co-stars tried to get him back on track, old and present ones. It had paps swarm them, coming up with new stories saying that he was dating him, which he wouldn’t even think about. He still thought about Mike constantly and hated how things ended up, but he couldn’t contact him. Not unless he went to Rosewood, and why would he do that? He didn’t want to ruin his new relationship and he didn’t want to run into his father. As he was bar hopping, probably having too much to drink already, Grey got into his car and just fell back into the seat. “Next bar, Lou. I’m tired of this place.” He said while slurring his words. “I need a new scenery. Better people.” @forgottenmistckes
