the longer she kept her eyes closed the longer she could cherish this moment, at least that’s what she told herself. it wasn’t often that hyoyeon found herself in situations like this, she was no stranger to vibrant meetings and quick, heated hook ups - but it was rarely that she found herself in a position where she cared. perhaps it was due to her profession, but sex wasn’t emotional for her. it was a drive, lust, a desire - but it was never something she linked to feelings. but this - this was different.

breath still heavy the blonde tried to move. limbs moving sluggish as she reached out to grab the other, only for her hands to land on an empty bed. a soft humph left the girl’s lips, disoriented as her fingers tugged at sheets lennon was supposed to be lying under. tucking the soft blonde strands behind her hair the petite moved slowly up in the hopes of locating the other girl. ‘ you leaving already ? ’ the words came out a little more unsure than she had wanted to do - knowing any sign of emotion would probably scare the girl off. 

‘ you do know you don’t have to go, right ? ’ her voice was chipper, innocent - much like the person she was, bright. hyoyeon’s life consisted of pastels and flowers, of honeycombs and soft humming and sunshine - where lennon fit in all that brightness was something she was still uncertain about, but she knew that right now she just wanted her to stay.
