People ask Casshern rather often if he's lost, maybe because he's always wandering; because he's never got a destination in mind or anything of the sort. Maybe it's just because he looks out of place. And in that definition, he really is.
Casshern is not lost as one looking for directions.
He's a creature of war & chaos lost within years of peace. Content and at ease is he when the threat of battle looms. But snatch that setting away from him, and suddenly he's a lost child-- a being of destruction with nothing to break.
Not that he wishes to; but he feels lost nonetheless.
