they were approximately 15 minutes from the day of a lifetime & roman couldn’t wait to start it. he’d swung by hayden’s place & got her to come hang with him away from campus. roman liked hayden, ya know? her vibe was off the charts. plus, she got his humor & that was always a plus. he’s always looking for a new friend & he knows hayden is gonna fit in perfectly. “so, when i win, ya know, just take your defeat like a lady. it’s cool, not everyone can be the boss of the track.”
