-- hi cuties, just wanted to give you a quick update on stella:

she was the third car involved in the accident last night, & ended up at the hospital with (luckily) just a few cuts and bruises... including a pretty deep cut on her forehead that required stitches & some monitoring. she ended up having an allergic reaction to the stitches that was kind of scary so they decided to keep her for a couple days just to make sure she was stable. sO that’s where she’ll be over the weekend! 

in other news i’m going to the beach for the weekend and will mostly be mobile & in the ims but am still ALWAYS around to chat or plot or anything, also i'm gonna try to do some threads before i leave today so just know those are all from the carnival and timestamped before the accident! ok love u all

           my grandmother —– the one who got my family to where they are today, the one who raised me and her four other grandchildren, and the strongest woman that i know —– is in the final stage of losing her battle with cancer.  my family and I have been caring for her for the past 3 years and i know time will heal, but i’m going to be taking a short break from writing so that i can spend time with my family. I’ve been trying to be positive in hopes that it would keep me and my siblings strong, but i don’t trust the control i have over my own emotions at the moment, so thank you everyone who’s dealt with me during all of this. with that said, my activity will likely be spotty for the next few weeks and at most, I’ll do a few replies and asks to get my mind off things if I’m feeling up to it that day. i’ll return to being your regular ol’ howl soon, guys. if you need to contact me for any reasons, i’ll check my messages when i can. i’m sorry and thank you again.
