It was another one of those extremely boring days, which everything made the male wish he was dead — or at least asleep. And poor guy, he was always so tired and stressed, everything he wanted was to stay home writing or reading, or anything else that could keep him relaxed, calm. Oh, how much he’d love to be sleeping…
And there he was, sitting in the same table of the same café he used to frequent. The same vegan apple pie and the same cup of mint tea right in front of him, and eyes glazed somewhere random. He was simply thinking, wonderig, completely distracted, not really noticing things around him nor who was around him — much less who was at his blurry sight. After all, his attention was all turned to his thought, his mind.
But once he heard the sudden voice, suprisingly directed to him, he was finally free from his tance, his eyes finally met the stranger’s face. His expression was serious and yet soft, much different from the other’s, who seemed to be rather annoyed and angry.
· · · · ·———— ❝ Oh? Ah, um… I’m sorry, sir, I didn’t mean to stare—- I was just… distracted. ❞
“of course,” sehun replies, words followed by a dramatic roll of eyes that in all its essence lacked the stingy, poisonous trait he usually holds. he tries, yes he does- he doesn’t want ryan thinking that sehun has somehow come to enjoy the older’s company, but it has come to a point where the blond can barely keep up the tough façade around the boy.
sehun may complain a lot, but in the end, he still stays behind to offer some company. in the end, all ryan has to do is ask and sehun will be right next to him.
“when is your head ever not up in the clouds?” he asks rhetorically then, leaning his chin on his hand and raising an annoyed brow at the shorter. “if i’m sitting in front of you, the least you can do is actually pay attention to me.”
