“ don’t tell me you’re fine. this is not fine ”
concerned meme - accepting!
“do you even care?” he hisses, brows furrowed tight as he glares at the older. it’s not with full intention that he reacts so bitterly to christopher’s words, but sehun’s mood isn’t the brightest, not when sporting a bruise on his cheek and angry red marks around his neck. he doesn’t want people noticing— he doesn’t want christopher noticing, not when each second of it is a reminder of sehun’s situation, a pity party of his own when it gets down to it.
or at least, that’s how the blond sees it.
“it doesn’t matter.” he mumbles afterwards, followed by a heavy sigh as he crosses his arms tighter against his chest, glaring elsewhere for suddenly it’s difficult to continue looking christopher in the eye - especially when he’s finding himself craving the feeling akin to safety he receives when he’s around the older, and it makes him feel weak. “just- fuck this. go mind your business.”
@macabreia
he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he doesn’t even know what he is thinking — shock pulses hard in his veins and although sehun is usually a fan of adrenaline, this one exceeds all limits and only makes the blond feel sick to the stomach.
he never meant for something like this to happen. the blood staining his hands wasn’t even his fault, and yet, it was sehun the one carrying the burden, the one brave enough to come back and try to save the situation. he’s been called a lot of names, from ruthless to arrogant to everything imaginable, and yet from everyone in his group, he was the only one to stay behind. he could go home, he knew he was free of harm, and he knew his friend wouldn’t do the same for him were the situation reverse.
and yet there he was, cleaning up after someone else’s mess.
“shit,” he breathes out in a shaky whisper, straightening his back to look around with alert eyes. his feet had taken him to the morgue - and god knows how he even managed to sneak in -, yet now that he was actually there, he just didn’t know what to do. he couldn’t think, not when his mind was clouded with anxiety, not when everything felt so overhwelming and at the same time, so empty.
finding the body - the corpse - had been easy, given how recent the accident had been, and it wasn’t until he was met with the lifeless face that sehun realised he had no idea what he was actually looking for. his friend had been paranoid, shaking and begging him to go back, to make sure there was no evidence, no clue that could lead the police to him. it seemed like an easy enough task, at least to reassure his friend, yet now that he was physically there, he never felt so much regret and anxiety at the same time.
he just knew he had to get this over and done with before being caught and blamed for a disaster he did not cause.
