(Missglitching) B walked over to Blamenco, a box in hand, with some transparent bandages stocked onto her fingers. Making sure he wasn’t looking, she stuffed it inside one of his pockets and walked away. Inside the box was a hammer shaped chocolate, with the lines of ‘hbd’ written on it. Seems like this is also his valentines chocolate for the year.

Blamenco jolts at the feeling of something foreign being shoved into his side. It was not a pleasant sensation by any means. After a second of shock he spun around, patting at the pocket and clumsily trying to open it as he looked for who surprised him. He see’s Bs back as she walks away, disappearing into the crowd of taller crewmates. Taking a new box out from his pocket he looked at it. It was simple, just with a red ribbon on top.

Opening it he let out a small “Oh!” at what was inside. It was good he opened it now, the chocolate would have melted. It was a bit embarrassing to admit, but Blamenco felt giddy. Of course he was highly appreciative of all the gifts he received, as was Vista, but receiving what was obviously a custom valentines gift was a whole other feeling entirely.

He was going to have to hunt down B and give her a hug later; a good bonecrushing one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE

"Happy birthday, yoi." Marco smiled to Izo, before handing him a small box. Inside was scented candles, some high quality tea and a carved figure of a cherry tree. It wasn't much, but it was the best he could come up with and he had taken his time to perfect that figurine. "Let's have a drink together later, yoi." He knew there were others waiting to wish him a happy birthday and Marco wouldn't want to be in their way. After all, Izo deserved to know how loved he was.

The raven haired man took the box, smiling at his brother.

“Thank you, Marco. I’ll put it aside for now if that’s alright, I fear I’m about to get trampled.” He chuckled lightly, “Such a pretty box as well...”

Just as he predicted, the moment he set the gift down, delicately of course, he was swarmed by family members all looking to wish him well and gift him things. If it where a normal birthday the presents would be scattered everywhere, different sizes and shapes strewn about in disorder despite Izous insistence on organization. Since it was his birthday, however, they were organized well, and the box was always in the corner of his vision.

If someone were to go into Izous room they would see that it was the cleanest out of any commanders quarters. Nothing on the floor but the rug, the trash empty, all the desks and shelves dusted clean. If they were to look at his desk they’d see his tiny orchid, and next to it the tiny cherry tree, a small strip of light blue fabric tied around it and a blue and yellow feather resting on one if it’s branches.

His working mug would always be present as well, and it would filled with that wonderful tea for as long as the blend lasted. Which was not very long given how fast the man went through tea, but he would try and make it last. The candles were placed by his bedside, an ornate lighter laying next to them. Never lit into the night of course, but just nice to have burning while relaxing or working.

(askthedragonheartcrew-if it's not to late to send in a birthday ask) ”Coco!” A brown haired toddler excited ran to the the first diversion commander, an excited smile on his face. ”Happy Birwthday uncie Coco!” River bounced on the balls of his feet excitedly, holding up the picture he made proudly. It was the man in his Phoenix form and the child on his back. ”Uncie Acey hewlped a little.” Ace, indeed, had a few sparkles on him. ”Do ywu like it?” Big green eyes stared up at the man hopefully.

Marco looks at the child, smiling and crouching down to his height.

“River! I’m happy to see you -yoi! Thank you!” He says.

He takes the picture, finding it utterly adorable.

“This is great -yoi! I love it! I’ll hang it on my wall. Would you sign it for me -yoi?”

It was moments like this he cherished. No fights for glory, no worrying about his family (that would come later with the hangovers), just peace and smiling faces. He was content like this.

“Wha- I don’t make fun of him!” Ace exclaims.

Marco gives him a swift bonk to the head, glaring at his brother.

“You called me a fancy chicken in our last conversation -yoi.”

“Isn’t that what everyone calls you???”

The first commanders eye twitches and he takes a deep breath. Turning his attention to you he gives a soft smile.

“Thank you -yoi. I’m surprised at all the well wishes I’ve gotten!”

A cake in hand as he walked on deck, Edward looked around before finding the person he was looking for. ‘oi— old man’ pushing the cake on Curiel, the smaller boy turned his head around and looked around for something. ‘That old hag can’t bake for shit— so here’s a cake she got from the store. She’ll be here in a bi— Macey!’ Finding his best friend, he quickly forgot about Curiel and went after the metal ball of joy.

Sitting on the deck yelling and laughing, Curiel didn’t noticed Edward approach right until a cake was shoved in his face. Jolting back some he took the simple cake. The fact that Edward gave him the cake instead of shoving it into his face was surprising. He clearly wasnt engaged in gifting it to Curiel, but he wasnt going to downplay how happy he was.

“Cake? From you? Pfff....thanks, Eddy~! ” He cheered.

Later he could blame it on the alcohol, but in that moment he reached out his arm to hug Edward. Though he didnt get his chance as that spike ball of Rakuyos distracted him.

“Hey!” Curiel pouted, throwing his free arm up dramatically, “I didn’t even get to say thank you....”

“Well you’ll find him with the booze later.” Fossa said, patting Curiel on the head.

“I better not! B will throw my tools overboard!”

“Hmf. Better stop him soon then, see him eyeing the kegs already.”

“Fucker. He’s so mean.....it’s marble cake though. You want it?”

“Hm? Not even going to try to eat it?” Fossa chuckled.

“Fuck no. He got this to spite me.”
