So........ v-day date went well then?

The Ilya monologue is heartbreakingly beautiful, and it makes me tear up every single time. Connor absolutely deserves awards for this - the pain in his voice is devastating: the quiver, the pauses, the swallow, the way he closes his eyes just to get the words out.
You can feel the weight of his family, the financial burden, the years of carrying everything alone. He’s trying so hard not to cry.....and that restraint somehow makes it hurt even more.
But God, Shane’s expressions destroyed me. Hudson Williams, acting without saying a single word, is phenomenal.
Because Shane knows he won’t understand any of it....and yet you can see him prepare himself to listen anyway. He takes a breath. Settles in. Closes his eyes. Like he’s saying: I’m here. I’m paying attention. I’m not going anywhere.
He listens to the tone, the inflection, the breaks in Ilya’s voice. His brow furrows. His eyes go glassy. He can’t interrupt, can’t fix it, can’t even fully understand it - but feels the pain anyway.
That quiet support? That’s love.
And when Ilya finally says he’s done - that small pause - Shane opens his eyes and smiles, just a little. Not because everything’s okay, but because Ilya got it out. Because he survived the moment.
“I wish I spoke Russian.”
That line makes me choke every time. It’s so simple, and it says everything: I want to understand you. I want to meet you where you are. I care about you.
They may not have a label yet, but the affection is undeniable. Shane doesn’t need words to be present, and Ilya doesn’t need to be understood to be heard.
It’s tender. And it’s one of the most emotionally honest scenes the show has ever given us.

What are you doing? I am checking if the spirit of the Crown Prince has secretly clung to you.

The thing that is so very refreshing about Momo and okarun is that they are so clearly in love. We the audience know it. They the characters know it. Everyone is on the same page and wants the same thing.
But they're still gonna be teenagers about it.
Insane over the fact that Matt is the only person who has ever known and listened to Dex's tapes, and from the way they showed it (Ray closing the box) he must have heard different ones too.
This is not a simple glimpse into the mind of a killer, he is straight up reading into every nook and corner of Dex's head, every mental framework that Dr. Mercer reinforced in him. This is Dex in his most vulnerable, truest state because he was so young and didn't know how to mask things yet. No one will understand Dex on that level ever again because those tapes were destroyed and the only other person in the room - Ray, is gone.
While Dex is (as of now) the only person to have donned the Daredevil suit. The suit represents half of Matt's soul, the devil part and the lawyer part. And just like Matt, Dex knows how it feels to bear the Devil's skin.
Like that's intimacy baby, that's serious business.
they have no idea that they’re gonna fall in love and get married and be together until their last breaths
