“I am glad that you came, Wil.” Yuli greeted his adoptive father upon the demon lord’s arrival at the castle. But, it soon became obvious that it wasn’t meant to be a mere visit; Yuli was hiding something behind his back, and it was being hidden so poorly.
It wasn’t the vampire’s fault, however, as what he was hiding behind his back turned out to be moving in a strangely fidgety manner, and whatever it was appeared to be wearing a long and billowy white skirt. Definitely hard to miss against Yuli’s black trousers.
“It is all right; he is the one I have told you about before.” Yuli had now turned to the person hiding behind him, reassuring them that Wilhelm was friendly, even despite his imposing stature. Once his acquaintance had appeared to have calmed down, Yuli returned his attention to Wilhelm, looking apologetic.
“Excuse us for that, Wil, but she is very shy towards strangers.” Yuli apologized before making a self-conscious cough. “But, ah…I would like you to meet someone, a…dear friend of mine.” He then stepped aside, intending to properly introduce his friend, but said friend made an anxious squeaking sound before she darted back to hide behind Yuli again, giving Wilhelm only a glimpse of long blonde hair and a glassy-looking green pair of wings akin to an insect’s, or a fairy’s.
{ 💎 } - Upon his arrival at Yuli’s castle, Wilhelm immediately noticed the figure (or at least, what little of her he could actually see) that was hiding behind Yuli, as she was very difficult to miss with how drastically her garments contrasted with Yuli’s own. It would seem that this was the person Yuli wished to introduce Wilhelm to, though Wilhelm could see nothing more than the flowing white fabric of her dress.
“Hm, yes.” Wilhelm began, occasionally glancing at the figure behind Yuli despite being unable to make direct eye contact. “That is fine. I am very interested to meet her.”
Yuli finally stepped aside, revealing and intending on formally introducing his friend to Wilhelm but before Wilhelm could even greet her, the girl immediately went back into hiding. He had only a momentary glimpse of her but if the butterfly-esque wings were any indication, she was a nature fairy, most likely. He wasn’t taken aback by her behavior, as Yuli had explained that she was quite shy around strangers. It was understandable, really.
“Please, come out. There is nothing to be afraid of, I assure you.” Wilhelm insisted, his tone gentler than usual with the intention of alleviating her anxiety.
