Batfam Purim

Dick and Stephanie both spend fucking ages planning out the perfect costume but every year one of them loses it the day before and has to half ass it anyway

Jason spends the whole megila reading just going through the commentaries in the footnotes because, fuck, the story of Purim has drama

The first year duke goes to magila reading with them he sits next to tim, who keeps tracks of where they are with his finger the whole time in case Duke gets lost

Cass loves to dress up with someone, and it anyways ends up being Tim because he’s the one who caves to her the most easily. One year they wore pink and blue mascara that Tim couldn’t get off, and he had a meeting the next day

Every year bruce organizes a major mishloach manos handout to give to many poor and homeless families in Gotham, but he personally only makes two, one for for his cousins Kate and one for Havey Dent

It’s the only one Harvey gets every year, and he can’t give much in return. Regardless, Bruce hides the mishloach manos Harvey gives him in his room so none of his kids accidentally eat it.

Bruce invites other jewish league members to eat the seudah with them, like Hal and Barry. A bunch of the Teen Titans, old and new, always make their way to Gotham for the meal, too, regardless of religion.

Bruce never invites her, but Harley Quinn always ends up at the table. Nobody says anything about it.

tea isn't a personality trait dammit earl gray again for fuck sake, I think reading aph england in old fics, but then I, a trash brit, remember that I plan my day around tea time, and once sat, calculated and counted enough tea bags to bring with me to america for a 7 week internship so I could drink at least 2 cups of tea a day and not have to drink that awful shit they have there (wrote a drabble headcanon thing here that Arthur also brings tea to america)
