the nerevar i invented in my mind palace so i can actually write....... there's not a lot to work with but extrapolating from snippets of secondhand sources....

i see him as not being naive exactly but earnestly tends to see the better in people. he's very open minded, if stubborn. he's pretty smart, he'd have to be. he speaks directly, he doesn't obfuscate, in contrast to vivec, and he means what he says deeply. <- this can wrap back around to being a fault, if he's sure of something he will do it even if it's impulsive or poorly thought out. a utilitarian.

vivec's account reads as a little patronizing, which tracks, but i do like the idea that he's just a little dumb. it's fine to be a little dumb

he is also, and this is important, kind of a weirdo but in ways that are not apparent until vivec is present.

I came across a series of photos on Pinterest showing working moments from the filming of "A Clockwork Orange". As I was looking at them, for some reason I thought: Malcolm McDowell was exactly the same age when he was filming this as Conrad Veidt was when he were filming "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari". Malcolm plays 15-year-old Alex DeLarge, and Conrad plays 23-year-old Cesare, and both are still so young.

There’s just something about warm, sunny weather that makes me want to sit in my garden and absolutely binge the fluffiest, stupidest, mushiest, most absurd, candyfloss dramas.

“So, season 15? Is it our last?” Jared doesn’t look at Jensen when he asks, but he clears his throat and Jensen thinks Jared’s got tears in his eyes.

“You want it to end?” Jensen says carefully, walking up behind Jared and placing his hand on his back.

Jared shakes a little, but he keeps his voice strong. “No,” he says evenly. But he brings his thumb to his mouth, biting the side of his fingernail. Jensen pretends not to notice.

“I don’t want it to end, Jensen,” Jared says. “I like this. I like doing all this. I like us.”

“Family for life, Jared, you know that. Ending the show won’t change that. You Padaleckis’ are stuck with us Ackles’ forever.”

Jared turns to Jensen and smiles. His eyes are dry.

“So, season 16 then?”

Jensen smiles too, the crinkles on the sides of his eyes lighting up his whole face.

“Season whatever, Jay. You know that.” Jensen pulls Jared in for a hug.

It’s a long one.

Jared doesn’t mind.

Neither does Jensen.

I’ve just stumbled upon the most wonderful lil video and I’ve Already sent it to all my friends so now I’m throwing it here too

I absolutely love videos that go into this aspect of world building and design work , it actually makes me want to draw props for once !
