My favorite trope is a team of people who don't like each other having to work together and being the only stable thing in each other's life
Did I do this right 🤌
“ homelander and butcher are two sides of the same coin ! “ “ annie and butcher are narrative parallels ! “ both good but i raise you m.m and butcher are mirrors in the sense that both of them glimpse into each other’s eyes and see someone they might have been
Ben ada. Ve bundan eminim ki bir gün kendimi öldüreceğim...

Earving/Black Noir’s death should have been the augur for the show’s quality drop. Homelander killing him was for shock value, bringing an anticlimactic end to his story, and he doesn’t posthumously impact the narrative beyond having a replacement on the Seven, who is more or less used as comedic relief by being the Deep’s buddy. Noir and M.M were both harmed and traumatized by Soldier Boy, but their stories are thrown to the side to prop up the latter as advertisement for his spin - off. The only upside is that at least M.M survives unlike his comic book counterpart and earns his happy ending by remarrying Monique, reuniting with her and their daughter Janine, and taking in Ryan. But Noir gets paid dust.
