I just sorta realized this

So remember that post relating how Moon’s butterfly pie was actually a moth pie?

And how the ‘butterfly forms’ for Moon and Star really resembled moths?

I was rewatching the last few episodes of season 3 and noticed Eclipsa’s word choice when describing Moon when she was in her butterfly form before she fled to the magic domain. She claims Moon was drawn to the portal “like a moth to the flame.”

So what if the reason Star and Moon can’t be in the magic dimension without losing their memories is because they aren’t from the Butterfly family and that’s why that unicorn kicked them out after saying they weren’t supposed to be there??

I don’t know it just seemed interesting to think about
