Sixto and Cheeni are his godparents, having met his birth parents during mandatory military service. Six was on leave when a major incident killed them and nearly killed Cheeni. It was such a shock that they both didn’t even think about Sturn until he was dropped off at the hospital. Reality probably sunk in at exactly the moment they saw him.
Sturn doesn’t remember them much, he was only 3. But Cheen and Six do a good job despite the awful circumstances ;w; (RBs appreciated! <3)
