She had lost track of time. She had lost track of time, and to be honest the blonde couldn't remember the last time she had spoken too or seen Remington Dutton. He was her best friend, he was someone whom she eventually fell in love with. That was a lot for her too, Lucy has never been in love, she tried with Jeremy and the blonde thought she was in love with her college boyfriend, but Lucy never really fell in love until she had met Remington. The two had a history, but their relationship after she had kept something so secret from him was never the same.
It rifted and it was all her fault. She ruined it, she had ruined their relationship and Lucy knew it. The only good thing she had going on in her life back then and the women destoryed it, or at least she tought. Telling him she was in love with him almost crushed her but in a good way, and when he told her that she couldn't be in love with him, Lucy was left broken and embarrassed. It had been quite sometime since she last saw him, and when she decided to pluck up the courage and text him the other day Lucy had no idea what the hell she was doing.
Making up an excuse that she had a box of his clothing left over, it wasn't an excuse it was the truth but Lucy had always stolen his clothes. From t-shirts, to sweatpants ect the blonde was always found in them the next morning. However when things ended between them, Lucy put Remington's things in a box and now she was about ready to get rid of it. When he had agreeded to come over, the woman wasn't sure how she was going to handle this. Maybe she should've just sent it off to goodwill or try to sell it on line, but this was Remington's things and Lucy couldn't do it. Getting lost within her thoughts, she took a deep breath and jumped a little when she heard the knock on her front door. He was here, he was here and Lucy wasn't ready for this at all. She opened the door and the minute the blonde saw him, a big lump formed in her throat and she felt tears form in her eyes. Lips quivering, Lucy swallowed hard and took a deep breath "I didn't think you'd come. Thank you” Lucy whispered and then sighed.. “I'm sorry, I just.. I'm spring cleaning and I found some of your stuff. Thought you'd might want it back." Lucy told him, trying to make small talk, she shrugged her shoulders and tried to pull herself together. Looking at him, Lucy felt her lips quiver more “How um.. how are you Rem?” She questioned, this was killing her.
