Alice wasn’t one to get drunk easily. First of all, because she didn’t drink that often now; and second because most of her drunken nights after the attack had happened with Alastor around, and drinking with that man really taught you something about tolerance. In all honesty, she didn’t remember much about her alcohol consumption before the attack. And there weren’t many friends left to ask about that. So she worked with whatever she had, and that was the present. Right now, she was absolutely and utterly wasted - dangerously close to the type of inebriation that led to bad decisions. Perhaps closer than she had initially thought.
It was a lucky turn of fate that she didn’t split when she apparated to Ted’s home and knocked on their door. It was also the biggest irony that she was turning to them right at this moment, seeking for the help of the person who managed to break her heart, over and over again. But maybe that was the point, maybe it was about revenge, about making them feel at least a speck of what she was feeling right now. She didn’t want to think about it, and she knew for sure they wouldn’t want to think about it either.
The second they opened the door, she was already throwing her arms around their neck. “Shut up, just- I don’t want you to ask me anything.”, she said, voice slurred, before kissing them full on the lips.
