Comforting

It’s difficult. His nephew is hurt and angry, and using the second to hide the first. Iroh wants nothing more than to wrap him in his arms, protect him from the world, though every attempt is pushed away.

And yet…

On the anniversary of That day, Prince Zuko goes missing. They search the ship, but it is not until evening that Iroh returns to his own room and finds him, curled asleep on the bed, swaddled in the familiar woollen folds of his beizi.

It is the first time Zuko seeks comfort in the tea-scented robe. But not the last.
